In between cooking dishes, I got in an hour long run!! So excited! It made me feel so much better about my 10k next weekend.

Mysti's Workouts - Week Nov 16th

Skipped my Monday run, again.
It had snowed / mix rain most all day Sunday and I was afraid at 6am I would fall or it was a good excuse :-(
This morning was good - 7 miles at 55 degrees and only a few rain drops.

Heath and I ran on the river walk before our busy day of open gym, dr, errands, etc.

It was cool, but sunny. Didn't run as much as I wanted, but that's ok. I'll try to do better next week.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of Nov 9th

John was out of town last week and it was in the 20s each day so I missed Wed and Fri. It was just too cold to get Samuel in jogging stroller even with weather guard.

My Mon and Sat runs were good but nothing special.

Michelle's Run 11.12.14

4 mile run with the jogger

This was one of those days that got colder as the day went on.  I felt good during the run and wanted to go longer, but Heath's little hands got cold.  Some of that was one him... he refused to let me put up the weather shield which would have helped with the cold.  Then I tried to show him how putting his hands under his blanket would help, but he didn't want to do that either.  :)  But 4 miles isn't bad.  I just need to get more runs in!  We're going to Kentucky this weekend to see my brother and sister-in-law.  I'm hoping to get a run in there.  We will see....

Also, my goal for next week is to do one morning run before Michael goes to work.  Just one, to try it out.  Maybe I'll like it!

Another goal is to get Heath some mittens!  ha!

Michelle's workouts 11.5-11.9

Nov 5- run/walk 30 minutes
Nov 6- 30 minute walk
Nov 7- Jillian Michael's workout
Nov 8- We did the Heart Walk as a family (it was a 2.5 mile downtown walk)
Nov 9- 40 minute run (this was supposed to be a 5.5 mile run, but a house in our neighborhood that I was curious about was having an open house, so I stopped mid-run to check it out.  Then I ran more, but I had to stop before the 5.5 miles because a little person in our house demands to eat dinner by 6, so I had to start cooking.)  It was still a good run though!

None of these were super impressive, but I did stuff.  Also, I hadn't done any weights in a long time and was sore 2 days later from my JM workout.  I need to work more of those in!
