Mysti's Workouts - Week of Oct 27th, Nov 3rd and Nov 10th

Wow!! I've been doing well with running, but horrible about blogging. Totally didn't know it had been over 3 weeks. Here goes a recap....Week of Oct 27th = short runs & 13.1 mile run!! Yay, reached my goal!! I started slowing down a litte to get ready for Race Day. Week of Nov 3rd = 4 and 9.5 mile run. Week of Nov 10th = 3, 2.25 w Sam, 3.15 w Sam and 6 mile. Now,it's race week with a forecast Saturday of low 21 and high 40 - at least the rain chance has dropped to 20%. My plan of slowing down to rest / recover last couple of weeks is starting to mess with my head. I keep thinking its been forever since a long run, but really on race day it will have been only 2 weeks. I'm ready!!

Michelle's run 11.3.13

25 minute solo run

Mysti was right, you feel so much faster when  you run solo after running with a jogger. I ran up hills and didn't feel near as tired as I usually do after a run. It also helped that the weather was great!

I'm really wanted to do a 5k before the end of year. I'm fairly confident I could do it now, I would just need to walk a little.  However, if I could do 2-3 runs consistently each week, I could run the whole thing.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of Oct 13th & Oct 20th

Week of Oct 13th, Sam and I were visiting family and did not do very well. Wednesday of that week we ran 25 minutes at the Viola City Park. Mom had mentioned that the park had a paved trail now and I was so excited; however, the trail was not even a full 1/4 mile. So we circled and circled and circled...till I went crazy. Week of Oct 20th, still did not get in my 4 runs, but it was still a good week. Tuesday - 4 miles with jogger, Wednesday - 5.25 miles solo and Saturday - 11 miles.

I have been having trouble with Heath crying mid-run. For this one I even got started around nap time, thinking he would fall asleep.  No such luck, he started crying about 10 minutes in.  I tried a toy and a paci, but he just cried.  Luckily, he stopped crying after about 6 minutes.  I'm sure the neighbors thought I was torturing him!

I wasn't even going to blog about this, but then I thought that even if it's a short run, it's something and I should be proud of that.

Heath and I went for a 10 minute run.  I had planned to run longer, but I was just feeling tired.  After our run, we got Murray and walked with him for 20 minutes.

Fall break is next week.  I am so excited to spend all day with Heath!

I have got John out a few times after his doctor recommended some exercise. Mysti's Workouts - Week of Sept. 8th & 16th

First off, I've been really bad about blogging. I will not say I don't have the time, because I do have extra time with having the opportunity to stay home right now. I just haven't made it a priority. I did spend a little time looking back at our progress and living life since starting running and this blog. 3 YEARS AGO!!! Wow, I feel like we have both done amazing!!! And just seems like part of our everyday lives; even when it was/is the post baby shorter distance runs. But let me say really LOUDLY and encourage Michelle - those 2 mile post baby runs are by far 100x harder than my current running progress!! Still cannot believe we have both had babies. The two most handsome little boys in the world. :) In regards to my current progress, it has helped that I have my friend Courtney to run with a couple times a week - we get up at 6:00am and run before our husbands go to work which equals running in the dark and I would never do that by myself, helps to push me and not to get bored. (I do realize how stay at home mom and wife that just sounded = very thankful but also just slap me Michelle) Week of Sept. 8th - Monday = 3.7 mile run, Wednesday = 30 minutes of water skiing and Saturday = 10 mile run. Week of Sept. 16th - Monday = 5.5 mile, Wednesday = 2.67 mike run with hills @ 10:32 pace, Friday = 2.9 mile run and Saturday = 12 mile run.

Michelle's workouts

I've hit some kind of working mom exhaustion wall. By Friday I can hardly sit up. In the last week I have done quite a bit of walking.  I ran for 12 minutes last Friday and 20 minutes Tuesday.  I was too tired to blog about it.  Tonight was cooler weather, but I opted for a nap while Michael took Heath in the jogger for his run. Such a good daddy/husband.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of Sept. 1st

Sunday = 1 mile run, Tuesday = 3.5 mie run with Sam, Thursday = 2 mile run with Sam and Saturday = 10 mile run! What!? I was planning for 8-9 miles, but at 8.5 miles I still felt really good so I just kept going. Pace = 11:29. I was a half block from home when I reached 10 miles - that was the longest half block ever :o

Mysti's Workouts - Week of Aug 18th & 26th

Week of August 18th - It was the first week for some time that it was just Sam and I at home without travel plans or guests. MWF = 1 mile walk each morning, Sunday = 2 mile run, Tuesday = 2 mile run with Sam, Thursday = 3.3 mile run with Sam and Saturday = 7.52 mile run - 11.16 pace. Week of August 26th - We were a one car family this week so I did some transporting Joey and John during the mornings. Tuesday = 2 mile run with Sam, Thursday = 3 mile run with Sam and Saturday = 8 mile run - 11.32 pace. I am very excited about my progress, but while running my last mile today and about to hit the 1.5 hour mark these thoughts started going through my head - I was thinking this is crazy, a half marathon, 2.5ish hours running, yeah right... I'm totally not ready to give up, but seriously I've gone crazy.

Walk: 13 minutes
Run: 20 minutes

Did a walk and run with Heath and Murray.  We walked the first 13 minutes and then ran for 20.  I definitely wanted to stop, but decided to push myself. It helped the Heath was sleeping and I knew as soon as I stopped he would wake up.  haha.

The weather was too perfect to pass up a run. I was able to run at 5:00 in the evening and not overheat.

P.s. I'm tired of the pregnancy weight... I need it to leave already. Which means I will have to really watch what I eat.  But that doesn't sound like fun either.

It was actually not super humid tonight, so Michael, Heath, and I went for a run.  Michael had the jogger.  I actually felt kind of naked running without it at first.  Not sure if I could have done 20 minutes with it.  Heath slept the whole time.

Sidenote: Tonight was one of those ideal working mom days.  I left work right away and got Heath, he was in a good mood, we got some things done, he took a good nap, we played, I wasn't exhausted, etc.  Why can't every day go so well?

Mysti's Wokrouts - Week of August 4th

I skipped a run on Tuesday and decreased number of miles on Thursday because my left foot / big toe area is giving me some trouble. Pleasantly surprise on Saturday that my foot was hurting during the beginning on 2nd mile, but then did well after I was more careful about stepping down off of curbs and trying to watch my form. However, I might need to do a little ore research on "correct form" as the onku researchi have down is when running with jogging stroller. Sunday = 3 mile run, Thursday = 2 mile run and Saturday = 6 mile run / 11.57 pace.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of July 21st & 28th

It has been a busy few weeks with trips to Tulsa and Viola. Overall, I still did pretty good on completing my runs considering I got sick for a few days this past week which caused me to miss 2 runs. Week of 21st - Sunday = 6 mile run with 11.5 pace, Tuesday = 4 mile run with Sam, Thursday = 4 mile run with Sam, Saturday = 2.25 mile run with Sam, curves and hills. Week of 28th - Monday = 3.75 mile run with Sam and the 70 year old crowd at Cooper Park in Mtn. Home - it was very funny and Saturday / Today = 6 mile run that was Horrible, but better than no run.

The only good thing about getting Heath on my back to work schedule is that we are up before it gets too hot out. We were out the door at 8. I know I will jinx myself, but the last two nights have gone pretty well and I am starting to feel that I may be able to function like a human being at work (with the help of coffee). Lets hope that will also mean I can get some workouts in too!

Heath and I enjoyed the cooler morning.  I didn't do any runs while we were on vacation, but we did some walking around Savannah. Of course we ate a lot too! I have decided that I need to start getting serious about exercising and eating. I had been slowly losing the baby weight, but the last few weeks its been at a stand still. Nothing crazy, just making more of an effort.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of July 7th

Sunday = 3 mile run, Monday = 1.25 mile walk, Tuesday = Sam slept in until 8:00am and at Splash Pad by 9:00am :), Wednesday = 2 mile run, Thursday = 1.25 mile walk, Friday = 2.75 mile run with Sam in jogging stroller and Joey on bicycle and Saturday = 4 mile run. I'm very excited about my continued progress in frequency and distance that I'm even considering training for a half marathon. :o We shall see!

Mysti's Workouts - Week of June 23rd

I'm not sure why, but running has felt like an up hill struggle since having Sam - a year ago! More of a life / mental adjustment than lack of physical ability. Oh well! I finally feel like a runner. I might have said that in previous post, but it just shows my ups and downs this year. Hopefully, this progress continues. Monday = 1.5 mile walk, Tuesday = 2 mile run, Wednesday = 2 mile walk, Thursday = 1.75 mile run and Saturday = 3 mile solo run. Today's (Saturday) run was great: nice cool weather, without jogger - little mommy time and felt good the entire run.

Heath and I took advantage of a cooler morning and when for a run walk.  We walked until we got to the top of the big hill and then we ran for 15.  Heath slept the whole time.  I was good until I hit the 12 min mark, the last 3 minutes were tough.

I have been wanting to do some weight/strength exercises, but hadn't been able to get it in. Since Heath doesn't nap much, it's hard to do a 30 minute workout.  But today he actually went to sleep in his crib for his nap.  I started the workout right away.  I made it 25 minutes when he woke up, I got him back to sleep and finished.  He woke up 5 minutes later, just enough to finish.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of June 9th & 16th

Monday = 1 mile run/1 mile walk, Thursday = 2 mile run, Friday = 1.5 mile run/1.5 mile walk, Saturday = 2 mile run / 1 mile walk with my boys / another 1 mile run, Sunday = 2 mile run, Monday - Friday = with The Hassler's and Saturday = 2 mile run. Just to show how much Michelle Rocks - my 2 mile time today was 21 minutes. She is only 2 months post baby and already matching my runs!

First post-pregnancy run without the jogger.  It was just me and the iPod.  I was surprised that I could even run up the hill.  I have done a lot better than I thought I would.  I don't know if its because I had an active pregnancy or if I have different idea of my limits after pregnancy and a natural childbirth.i just need to get more consistent.

It's funny that Mysti was here all week and we didn't run once.  But with two kids and only one jogger, that wasn't going to happen.  :)

Michelle's run 6.6.13

Took Heath and Murray.  We walked first and then ran for 12 minutes.  I didn't know how running with the jogger and Murray would go, but it wasn't bad.  It helped that we were running in the middle of the afternoon when others were not out.  I definitely wouldn't do it all of the time, but it's good to know it's possible.

The walk/run was definitely needed.  Heath has not been napping except when he is in his carseat (and even then the naps are really short).  He has been extremely fussy because he is so tired.  We are trying to stay home the next few days so that I can work on getting a better nap routine.  So, the walk/run was a good way for us to get out.  Heath fell asleep, but woke up about 5 minutes after the run was over!

I ran a little farther today.  I felt good and enjoyed the nic summer evening.  Heath seemed to enjoy it as well.  Since his carseat snaps into the jogger, he faces me, so I look at his cute face while I run.  I even get to talk to him.

Michelle's RUN 5.31.13

I did it.  I went on my first post baby run.  I stuck Heath in his jogger and ran up and down the street for 12 minutes. I wanted to run a mile, but my ipod was dead, so I figured 12 minutes would be pretty close. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.  I did discover that I need a bigger size shorts.  It's crazy, some of my pre-pregnancy clothes fit better while I was pregnant than they do now.  I kind of think that when you have the baby, your belly just shifts to your thighs, upper stomach, and back. Ugh!

Let's hope I can keep up the running.

Mysti - Week of May 12th & 19th

It has been a good couple of weeks. Recovered from Sam's birthday bash and then spent a week at my parents house. AKA "The Farm". Monday 12th = 3 mile run with Courtney, Tuesday 13th = 1 mile walk, Friday 17th = 2 mile run, Saturday 18th = walking, strolling, playing all over the farm, Sunday 18th = 2 mile run down the dirt road and in the hay field, Monday 20th = 1 mile walk, wednesday 22nd = massage due to hip/leg issues, Friday 24th = trip to chiropractor and massage therapist confirming pulled hamstring and hips out of alignment 1/4 inch and Saturday 25th = 2 mile run due to chiropractor telling me to slow down a little but not to baby my right hip. Overall, I am happy with my progress over the last couple of weeks and hope my hip issues get better.

Last night Michael and I walked around the mall (it was raining), tonight we walked around the neighborhood.  My midwife said today that walking isn't going to start the labor, but it's good for me, so I might as well keep it up.  It does keep me active and helps fill my time.  So, until the baby comes, I will be walking every day.

Random side note, I remember this time last year Michelle was blogging about her runs, I was 9 months pregnant and felt like I would never be able to run again. Excited that Michelle is the one pregnant this year and hoping she knows that she will run again when she is ready. Prayers for an easy and healthy delivery. Heath we are ready to meet you!!

Mysti's Workout 04-06-2013

Week 3 Day 1. It has been a crazy couple of weeks with Easter travels and work...IOWA / Benchmark testing, interviews for my replacement, 2013/14 budget and in general getting ready for my last day at OGC. 15 days to go. With the end of work near and not running for a couple weeks, I decided to backup on my workout and start over with the stroller. I'm sure most of my runs will be with Sam now that I will be at home and runs are different with a stroller, maybe a little more difficult.

Murray and I took another walk around the neighborhood.  Our doula said walking uphills will help my body get ready for labor (not start it, just get my body ready).  Luckily our neighborhood is hilly.  Walking still feels pretty comfortable.  No waddling or anything.  At the end of the walk, Murray and I even jogged 2 house lengths.  Mostly, I wanted to see what it would feel like to jog that pregnant and I wanted to know if I could do it.  I thought the worst it could do was cause me to go into labor.  It really wasn't bad, but like I said it was two houses! 

Now to clean my kitchen....

Michelle's walk 3.27.13

30 minute walk with Murray

Yikes it's been too long.  Life has been busy with exhibit and then getting ready to go on maternity leave.  Then we had terrible weather the last few days (flurries on Spring Break?!?!).  I also have a fear of walking and going in to labor.  I'm just not ready yet!  However, I sucked up my fears and went today.  It was still chilly, but sunny.  Murray was even good. 

After we got back from our walk I put Murray to the stroller test.  He generally doesn't like strollers, so I have been a little nervous about getting him near it.  When we tried it out inside he didn't seem to mind, so I thought I would see how he would walk beside it.  He did great!  One thing that helps is that it's a jogger, so the wheels don't make any noise.  It's so quiet.  I could tell he didn't love it, but it didn't bother him too much.  Another impressive thing, I was talking to my mom on the phone (so holding the cell phone up with my shoulder), holding his leash in one hand, and opened the stroller with the other.  Just call me super mom!  :)

Mysti's Workouts Week March 11th

Tuesday's Lunch = Veggie Sub w Baked Chips. Wednesday's Lunch = Grilled Chicken Salad. Thursday's Lunch = Veggie Sub w Baked Chips. Wednesday's Workout = One Hour Walk. Fridays's Workout = One Mile Walk. Saturday's Workout = 3 Mile Run / Walk. All workouts were with Sam and the jogging stroller. I think there is a reason it is called a jogging stroller not running stroller - you just cannot move as fast. Maybe that's just my excuse for a slow run.

The weather is so nice today!  Wish it was a run, but I'll get back to it soon enough.  ( Just about the time it gets really hot out.) :)

Michelle's workout 2.27.13

30 minute walk with Murray

My legs/ankles were so swollen after work today.  I think it was mostly because it really warmed up this afternoon and my classroom got so hot... I just puffed up like a balloon.  It doesn't help that I was on my feet a lot too.  Well, I know that one way to help with the swelling is walking.  It seems counter intuitive, but I will do anything.  So, as soon as I got home, I took Murray for a 30 minute walk.  My ankles and legs are much less scary now! 

Oh, and walking definitely gets the Braxton Hicks contractions going... maybe that's a sign that walking will get the labor going too in a few weeks!

Walked for about 30 minutes both days.  Took Murray with me both times as well.  Today we also spent 20 minutes at the dog park.  The weather was really nice.

Mysti's Workut 02-20-2013

Jillian Michaels: 30 Day Shred - Level One. It is snowing here so no running with Sam today. I had just put him down for his nap and thought about doing a Kinect workout, but then started looking online at Jillian's DVDs thinking I should follow numerous friends advice and buy one. While reviewing the various DVDs online, I discovered I could download Amazon Instant Video to my iPad, purchase DVD and "instantly" start. :) Everything on the iPad is so fast and easy! No turning on TV, finding the blue-ray remote, putting DVD in, ect...Oh the day went DVDs were convenient - now we have instant streaming I don't even have to go to the store.

I did the Jilian Michael's workout this morning while it was still cold outside.  Then the weather turned beautiful, so Murray and I went for a walk.  Plus, he was driving me crazy!!

Michelle's run 2.14.13

Time: 15 minute run and 15 minute walk

I did it!  I ran to my 30th week of pregnancy!  I am actually really proud of myself.  I did not think it was going to happen at times, but overall it wasn't too hard of a goal to reach.  However, if I hadn't made the goal, I probably wouldn't have done it. 

I'm not sure how running will look after this.  I may still run (probably not more than 10 minutes at a time), but I may just stick to walking.  The running isn't that bad, but I am so tired most days, it's hard to get up the motivation.  We will just have to see. 

I went to the dr. today and I hadn't gained any weight since my last appointment!  So my weight gain is about 20 lbs.  I'm hoping to only gain about 5 more pounds, but I'm ok with up to 10.

The skirt still fits.  It fit really well when I wasn't running.  However, since my legs are bigger, there was some thigh rubbing and skirt riding up action. 


I looked at a picture of myself wearing this skirt when I first got it.  I can hardly remember being that thin!  I hope it comes back (eventually).

I wanted to run, but it started sprinkling as I was driving home.  I was also tired.  After I rested for a bit, I felt like doing something.  I was actually proud of how much of the DVD I could still do, even though it was just week 1.  I still need to do one more run.  My schedule has been crazy, but I think Thursday may be the day.

Sam and I walked with Dana, Angela and all 4 kiddos for about a mile. I'm sure we were a sight to see with three strollers :) Then I ran for about another 2 miles. Beautiful sunny and warm day!!

It felt good to run.  It was sunny, yet cool, my favorite running weather.  Wore the BeBand which helped a lot.  Also I've found that music is essential for pregnant running.  It keeps me from focusing on the little aches and pains.  One more week to my goal!

I might be the worst Mom ever today, but Sam is a little better today and I just could not wait any longer. Plus fresh air is good for you, right? We went on a 12ish minute / 1 mile run. He did great. I made sure to dress him extra warm: onesie, socks, fleece footed pjs, gloves, hat and blanket. He probably would have started sweating if it had been much longer. Love the stroller, but it is going to take some getting used to running with a stroller. Pictures...

Michelle's workout 1.29.13

20 minutes of a cardio workout

While I was waiting for dinner to cook and Michael to get home from his class, I did a quick 20 minute cardio workout with the OnDemand.  It was actually a pretty good one for pregnancy.  No up and down, no ab work.  Just moving around and getting the heart rate up.

I think I'm starting to get the third trimester exhaustion, or maybe it was just a long day.  Next week is ridiculously busy (parent-teacher conferences, meetings, etc) ... I may not make it!

We are still struggling with RSV, head colds and ear infections for all 4 at the Burton Home. Prayers that the flu doesn't get us too!! On a happy note and it truly brighten my mood this week, I purchased a used jogging stroller. Thanks to Michelle's research and sharing her knowledge I knew what type strollers to be pricing and keep an eye on. (BOB or Schwinn Turismo) Craigslsist Find: BOB Sport Utility with Weather Shield for $75!! I think it is the 2011 model. Owner said, "I bought it off of a friend over a year ago and have never used it, just trying to free up some space in my garage". The tire tread looks brand new; I truly don't know it is has ever been used. However, all three tires were flat. Made a call to bike shop, said new inner tire tubes are $6 a piece with small fee for labor, we have them in stock, bringing in and we will fix you up. I was think extra $30 still a great deal. Get to bike shop, the pull out all the inner tubes, no problems, air up, place back on tire / wheel and no charge "air is free"!! Now, if I can just get the rain and sickness to go away.

Mysti 1-27-2013

No workouts for me this week. Sam started getting sick last weekend and ended up having RSV and double ear infection. He is better now after taking amoxicillin and breathing treatments. Now....I have head cold, left ear infection and I'm sure RSV;however, didn't have them do a test as it is viral and not much you can do. John is out picking up my z-pak and sudafed right now. I'm very thankful for the Lord's protection as RSV can be much worse in babies and thankful for good health insurance - though I feel yucky now he always takes care of us!!

Michelle's workout 1.25.13

30 minutes of Prenatal Yoga

Where has the week gone???  I didn't get any workouts in this week.  I feel like I was busy most days and didn't really procrastinate a workout per say.  School was cancelled today because of the threat of ice.  While we didn't get a much, it was cold and rainy most of the day.  I had big plans to do a cardio video and yoga, but then I accidentally took a 3 hour nap.  So, I ended up just doing the yoga.  It seemed to really help with my back pain.  I need to do it more consistently! 

I'm hoping to get a run in this weekend.  My goal is to now to do one run a week (probably 10-15 minutes).  That means I will probably only have about 3 more runs.  My belly is starting to get BIG!

Mysti's Workout 01-20-2013

25 Minute, 2 Mile, Walk / Run. Another beautiful day. Start on Week 5 Day 1 of Couch to 10k. Excited to keep going!! On a random note, Northwest Arkansas is working on connecting trails from Fayetteville to Bella Vista with the plan showing the trail going in right behind our backyard. I looked at the maps last summer and was so excited, but a little skeptical that is would be finished by Dec 2013 or really be able to acces from our neighborhood. HOWEVER, breaking ground / plowing has started about 10 feet from our back fence!!! Can you tell I'm excited. Place to run, family walks,place for the boys to safely rides bikes, ect.... It also secures that we will not have a house built or a road go in right behind us. I also have this crazy vision of being able to run all the way to Faytteville - which would be around 25 miles on interstate - I can dream right!?

Michelle's run 1.19.13

Time: 10 min run, 7 min walk, 10 min run

The times are approximate because I didn't have a watch or take my ipod with me.  The weather was nice, but not quite 60.  I still wore a short sleeve shirt and shorts.  I was pretty happy when I put my shorts on and they still fit.  However, they did not fit as well once I started running.  But, it worked.

This run was hard.  The first 10 minutes were fine.  However, the 2nd 10 minutes of running were not so fun.  My legs are really feeling the weight.  I also feel the pressure on my bladder and think I am going to pee my pants.  Ha! 

So, we will see how many of these I have left.  I'm thinking only a few.

Mysti's Workout 1-19-2013 (Finally)

25 minute, 2 mile, Run/Walk. I was very excited to get outside today. Hope this 60 degree weather heads Michelle's way. I was in shorts and a tshirt! My back is about 95% better and didn't bother me during the run. I stretched for a long time which in general helps my lower back, hip and legs - seems to all be connected to my back issues.

So, I decided that I needed to do SOMETHING.  It continues to rain here.  We actually had a late start yesterday (I spent the extra time in my bed) and then we got out about 1 1/2 hours early today.  It was supposed to snow, although I haven't seen of it at my house.  Since going outside hasn't really been an option, I decided to take advantage of the On Demand.  Not working out really lowers my energy level.  I was hoping the yoga would help stretch my back.  My lower back has really started to feel tight.  Laying on my back is pretty painful, as is standing up sometimes.  Hopefully it gets better soon.  The sun is supposed to come out tomorrow and stay for a few days, so I am hoping I can get outside this weekend.

Ah, it has been about 3 weeks of back problems, chiropratic appointments and massage sessions. It had finally fully felt better last Thursday and then I traveled again over the weekend which set me back. A 20lb baby doesn't help either. My hope is to run this weekend!!

Time: 30 minute run

I was able to go for a 30 minute run this evening just before the sun set.  It was a good run.  My legs are starting to really feel the extra weight, but once they get going they get used to it.  I'm still so surprised that I can run for 30 minutes without getting short of breath, but sometime walking up a flight of stairs leaves me gasping.  ha!

Back to work tomorrow.  Ugh.

Michelle's workout 1.2.13

Prenatal Yoga: 30 minutes

Will I ever see the sun again?  I'm starting to wonder if I moved to the Northwest.  It has been cloudy/rainy for so long!  It just doesn't make me want to go outside, especially for a run (plus, it was in the 30's today).  But, I decided I needed to do something so I did about 30 minutes of prenatal yoga.  It's not the most exciting, but the stretching feels good and it gets some blood flowing.  It's looking like this weekend and the beginning of next week will be a little nicer for running, we will see!

Mysti - Not Giving Up

It has been a week since I was able to run, but I'm not giving up!! I fully planned,on running the day after Christmas; however, I was at my parents and it snowed about 3-5 inches. Too much to run in, especially with dirt roads and needing to see the potholes. No worries I thought, I will run tomorrow when it melts off. Again, I didn't think about the dirt roads - now a muddy mess. Oh well, it's Christmas and I will be able to run Sat and Sun at home. Just kidding - My back went out :( I'm still not getting around very well. New hope is to be able to run this weekend.
