Michelle's run 6.28.14

37 minute run. 10 minute walk.

Heath and I ran downtown this morning. We ran across two bridges and through the park. It was great for a Saturday run. Heath enjoyed watching the people and cars. It was a long time for him to be in the stroller and he didn't fuss once.

Michelle's run 6.27.14

35 minute run, 5 minute walking with jogger.

Heath and I tried something new today.  We drove to the riverpark and ran there.  It's about a 10 minute drive and it was great!  The running path was pretty flat and it took you by the river, some parks, over bridges, etc... and that was just the part we ran today!  I really need to get more adventurous with my running.  I always just run by my house and it gets boring.  Heath also likes to look at different things.  I just need to go earlier.  Today it got a little hot by the end!

Samuel and I spent the beginning of week at Grandparents' Farm and Great Aunt Cathy's House. 
I enjoyed the break from workouts and our regular schedule.

Today I learned how much of a difference a flat course makes. I was just hoping to get around 33 minutes. The course was really flat and easy to run. Michael finished around 28 minutes! My mom watched Heath (they enjoyed watching everyone run) so we were jogger-less.

20 minute run with jogger

I've worked this week and it's been really hot... So I have been able to run much. My only choice is to run in the morning before work, but it's so hard to get up. But today I did it! 

5k is Saturday! Wish me luck.

Mysti's Workout - June 19, 2014

25 minute walk
25 minutes arms

John typically get up with Sam in the mornings around 6am. I run MWFSat and sleep in till 645 on TT; however, I'm so less productive and feel sleepy all morning. This morning I got up and walked. I cannot run everyday do in fun to try just getting up and taking a short walk to help start the day. We shall see.

20 minutes Stretching 

Run = Hot, Hot and Hot 
Already 75 at 6:30
Arms = Sore

Despite it being hot and my arms being sore it was still a good.

OMG, this was a horrible run. I planned on 3 miles, but that didn't happen and had to stretch at 1 mile.
Oh well, bad runs happen.

I was lazy and did not run this morning, but made it to the gym - 35 minutes of free weights. It might just being wishful thinking but when I was working out I thought for the first time that I could tell my arms had some tone to them.

Michelle's run/walk 6.13.14

25 minute run/walk with the jogger
45 minute walk at the park with a mommy friend and her daughter

My run today was just not good. I wasn't feeling it and my shirt was really annoying me. It's hard to push a stroller and adjust your shirt every 30 seconds! This afternoon we met a friend and her daughter at the park and walked for 45 minutes before letting the kids swing. So even though my run stunk, I was active today and we enjoyed plenty of nice weather!

It was actually not too hot or humid this morning. I was able to run 30 minutes with the jogger without stopping or even feeling like I was going to die.

Our 5k is next weekend. I think I'm ready for it.

Michelle's run 6.9.14

31 minute run with jogger. 

Heath and I were about to go on our run and this happened.
So we has to wait until the afternoon. It was really humid,but not too hot. 

I am also doing an ab challenge. 30 days of ab work. I just found a plan on pinterest. I wasn't worried about what the exact plan was, I just need to do something. I like how I look except for my stomach. I hate that I still look 5 months pregnant. And it's not fat, it's just that I have no muscles anymore. So I'm hoping by actually doing some exercises with them, they will tighten up a bit.

We went to Tulsa this weekend to visit John's family. I planned to run Sunday morning, but it was pouring rain all morning. When you cannot run - shop right!?
I went to Lululemon for the first time and found a couple of running items I think I'm going to LOVE!! 
1) Tank - Ta Ta Topper
- Babydoll type shape
2) Bra - Ta Ta Tamer II
- Convertable straps
