Michelle's run 7.29.14

30 minute run with jogger

Sometimes just getting out the door is the hardest part. Even though I had a terrible night of sleep and have a yucky cold, I still got out and ran. I start back to school tomorrow, luckily just a few days a week! Hopefully, we can establish a good routine that involves running!

Mysti's Workout - July 26, 2014

I made it 8 miles this morning with a little break: bathroom, refill water and then slowed my pace. I'm happy with it!
Oh, it was 75 degrees at 6am!

Michelle's workouts 7.16-7.25

We did A LOT of walking in NYC. One day Erika's fit bit said we walked 10 miles! Then Monday I did a flying trapeze class! So fun. My arms and body were sooo sore the next day.

Mysti's Workout - July 21, 2014

Eeerrrrr, 8 days since my last run!
Stupid summer cold!

I'm not 100% better, but good enough to get in a 4 mile run this morning. Definently, made me feel more normal to get up, run and back to my routine.

Even though it was hot out, I still got in a workout.

We went to the park for a run, but weren't feeling it so we ran a mile and walked a mole.

Mysti's Workouts - Week of July 6, 2014

Mon - 3 mile run
Wed - 4 mile run
Fri - 4 mile run
Sat - 9 mile run

Joey's with us for his 5 week summer time!! Getting to gym will be more limited. Didn't go last week. I'm totally ok to miss since we have more time with Joey, but don't want Samuel to get out of routine. Childcare goes up to 9 year olds, but Joey looks more like an 11 year old and he would just be so bored. I think I will go  some to drop off Samuel and then play basketball with Joey. That works out arms, right!? :)
Saturday was a difficult run - hot and hilly. 
I ran out of water during mile 7. A 4 bottle belt might be in order. Finished the 9 miles and felt pretty good about run despite conditions. Pace was 10.42 vs more normal 10.15, but also been building miles again over last month.

Michelle's run 7.4.14

30 minute run

Ran 30 minutes as a family to start our July 4th holiday. Michael pushed Heath for the first half and I got the second. We went to the river park area and let Heath get out and play at the park at the end. Since he isn't walking, he can't do a lot at the park, but he enjoyed the slides.

Michelle's run 7.3.14

25 minute run/walk

Really not feeling it today. My legs felt like bricks! It probably didn't help that I hadn't ran since Saturday. Our week just ended up being a little busier than I had expected.
